SHIMBA FOREST LODGE
A comfortable forty-five minute drive from the beaches at
Diani, set in a tropical rainforest is the spectacular, award winning,
tree lodge overlooking a floodlit waterhole.
The rooms, 30 in all are comfortably furnished with
stunning views across the waterhole. Dinner is served on the terrace to
the myriad sounds unique to the African rainforest; truly an

Within the 192 square kilometer Shimba National Reserve
you can spot elephant, buffalo, leopard and it is the last remaining
habitat of the sable antelope in East Africa.
In addition to the early morning and late afternoon game
drives, guests can take an excursion to nearby Sheldrick Falls for a
refreshing dip in the cool cascading waters, or ‘sundowners’ in a shady
forest glade.
