SAROVA MARA

Nothing quite captures the true spirit of East Africa, like a safari in Kenya’s richest game sanctuary, the Masai Mara.

Sarova Mara is set within the reserve and provides the ultimate safari experience with 75 deluxe tents set amongst indigenous plants with the open plains beyond. You can walk around the large camp without fear as it has been fenced to keep out dangerous animals. Stroll the walkways or bird watch from the bridge over the lily ponds.

A swimming pool is such a treat at a safari camp, and ours will cool you off in the heat of the day when all the animals are resting and when you should be too.

Expect a wide choice of extremely good food at all meals, which are served in the main lodge. Here you will also find a bar and entertainment area where Maasai warriors perform traditional dances to the amazement of visitors.

This lodge is the base camp for hot air balloon flights over the endless grass plains. Float for an hour then land amongst the animals for a champagne breakfast cooked by a chef in whites. There is nothing quite like it.

SAROVA SHABA

Escape to this unique oasis set in the heart of “Born Free Country”, home of the colorful Samburu Tribe, and the great conservationists Joy and George Adamson.

Shaba Game Reserve has a number of unique species only found in this area and Sarova Shaba offers you a variety of memorable experiences, from walking safaris, 4x4 game drives, and meals in the bush or around the fire in the boma.

At the end of a day full of adventures, retreat to one of the 85 chalets or the viewing deck - all overlooking the Uaso Nyrio River, where crocodiles can be seen sunbathing on the bank.

This lodge has a large free-form swimming pool that flows around the lush gardens which gives the place a beach resort feel while being in the middle of the African wilderness.

SAROVA LION HILL

Just a couple of hours away from the hustle & bustle of Nairobi, is Sarova Lion Hill . A beautiful retreat set in Lake Nakuru National Park – home to thousands of pink flamingos and pelicans.

This exotic park boasts a rich concentration of wildlife including black and white colobus monkeys and is also a famed Rhino Sanctuary. Look for temperamental black rhinos browsing on the bushes, and larger white rhinos cropping the grass along the lakeside. Nowhere else will you get a photo of a rhino backed by a mirage of soft pink flamingos sifting food from a shimmering soda lake.

Sarova Lion Hill has 67 chalets all overlooking the lake. It is the perfect place to experience one of the world’s largest ornithological spectacles, so be sure to bring your binoculars.

SAROVA SALT LICK

Located in the heart of the Sanctuary, Sarova Salt Lick Lodge is a truly unique concept consisting of 96 rooms elevated on stilts, each overlooking a waterhole and linked by suspended walkways.

At night, the waterholes are floodlit ensuring that guests enjoy an uninterrupted view of the daily procession of thirsty visitors below.

Most of the 96 guestrooms at Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge are overlooking one of several waterholes and are located in 12 original clusters on stilts with only 4 rooms on each of the 2 floors.

Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge has 48 double rooms, 33 twin rooms and 15 triples. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and have private bathrooms with shower. All beds have mosquito nets and each room is equipped with an electric fan.

SAROVA TAITA HILLS

Sarova Taita Hills Game Lodge offers luxury accommodation and amenities within the Sanctuary and is the ultimate base from which to explore. The stone building designed in the style of a German fortress, reflective of the world war 1 Anglo-German conflict in this area which epitomizes the magnificence of Kenya's forests, mountains and Savanna within the 28,000 acres of the sanctuary. It is perfect for the discerning traveller seeking an unforgettable African holiday experience with 60 standard rooms and 2 suites.

All of the rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished, with ensuite shower rooms. Guests at Sarova Taita Hills Game Lodge have two accommodation options to choose from, namely the Standard Rooms or the suites. These consist of tastefully decorated rooms offering elegant and unique relaxation. Accommodation is available on full-board basis.
